2. Service Description
TestePC is a free, experimental online service that offers hardware diagnostic tests for computers, including tests for keyboard, sound, webcam, processor (CPU), RAM memory, graphics card (GPU), monitor/display and system stability.
All tests run directly in the user's browser, with no software installation, using standard web APIs such as WebGL, the Web Audio API, the Battery API, among others.
3. Disclaimer of Liability
TestePC and its operators are not liable for:
- Direct or indirect damage caused to the user's hardware during or after running any test;
- Overheating, freezing, restarting or failure of components such as the processor, graphics card, RAM memory or any other hardware;
- Loss of data, files or unsaved work while running the tests;
- Incompatibilities between the tests and certain browsers, operating systems or hardware configurations;
- Inaccuracies in the results shown, which are estimates based on browser APIs and may not precisely reflect actual hardware specifications;
- Instability or system crashes during long-running tests (stability test);
- Damage caused by video drivers that stop responding (TDR) during the GPU test.
The service is provided "as is", without express or implied warranties of any kind.
4. Acceptable Use
By using TestePC, you agree to:
- Use the site only for lawful and legitimate purposes;
- Not attempt to bypass, disable or interfere with any of the site's security features;
- Not use automated tools, bots or scripts to access the site in an abusive manner;
- Not attempt to reproduce, distribute or commercialize the site's content without prior authorization;
- Not carry out denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or any action that impairs the site's operation.
5. Intellectual Property
All TestePC content, including but not limited to source code, design, text, logos and visual elements, is the property of MVSP Soluções Digitais and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
Reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use of the content without prior written authorization is prohibited.
The music made available for the audio test (Arcane) is authored and owned by fiftysounds.com, subject to its own licenses.
6. Advertising
TestePC may display ads served through Google AdSense. These ads are selected and displayed by Google based on your browsing history and preferences, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not endorse the products or services advertised and are not responsible for the content of the ads shown.
7. External Links
The site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement of, or responsibility for, the content of those sites. We recommend reading the terms and privacy policies of any site you visit.
8. Service Availability
TestePC is provided free of charge and may be interrupted, modified or discontinued at any time, without prior notice. We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted availability of the service.
